General sale conditions
1 > PURPOSE:
This contract defines the conditions of Fastnetexpo service provision to the customer by the provider.


2 > TERM:
This contract comes into force from the first day of setting up the event at 8:00am, when speed will be restricted to 128kb/s. The speed will be increased to the contractual value at 8:00am on the first day of the event.
The contract ends when the Fastnetexpo service is stopped at the end of the last event day.
Any waiver request must have been formalised before ordering of the Fastnetexpo service and will be subject to a surcharge calculated according to this request.


3> FINANCIAL AND BILLING CONDITIONS:
The Fastnetexpo service is billed before the event. Subscriptions are invoiced in advance. Invoices are payable on receipt. Any non-payment will result in immediate withdrawal of the Fastnetexpo service.


4 > INITIALISATION AND MAINTENANCE:
The date of service initialisation is communicated by the provider to the customer. It constitutes the beginning of the Fastnetexpo service.
Once the Fastnetexpo service is deemed to be effective, the customer undertakes to date and sign the Fastnetexpo process monitoring sheet.
The customer must allow the providers' technicians to have access to the premises where the equipment is installed. The provider is the only party authorised to perform operational and maintenance work related to the Fastnetexpo service. The maintenance service does not include breakdowns that are not attributable to the provider, such as breakdowns of equipment or software belonging to the customer, for which intervention will be payable.
The provider will inform the customer 24 hours in advance of preventive maintenance operations requiring temporary suspension of the Fastnetexpo service, which under no circumstances may entitle the customer to indemnity.


5 > EQUIPMENT:
Equipment provided to the customer remains the exclusive property of the provider. The customer will assume the obligations inherent to its capacity as custodian and in this context must take out insurance covering all damage, loss or theft of said equipment. In the event of damage to equipment, the customer undertakes to inform the provider within 24 hours and make the damages claim to its insurance company.


6 > CONDITIONS FOR INTERNET USE:
The customer declares that it has the equipment and qualified personnel required for proper operation of the access and is aware of the nature of the Internet.
It is up to the customer to take all appropriate measures to protect its own data and/or software from virus contamination.
The customer undertakes not to harm the image of the provider by the nature or promotion of its own service and to desist from all use contravening regulations and laws in force, notably:
- not to use, authorise or permit use of the Fastnetexpo service to transmit or receive data of a threatening, shocking or defamatory nature, or that could compromise confidentiality agreements or infringe property rights.;
- not transmit, either knowingly or carelessly, any electronic element or programme via Fastnetexpo that might damage the computer systems of the provider or other Internet users.
The customer is solely liable for use of data that it consults and transmits on Internet.
If the provisions of the present article are violated by the customer, the Fastnetexpo service will be ceased immediately without giving rise to indemnity of any sort for the customer.

7 > RESPONSIBILITES AND RISKS:
This contract comes into force from the first day of setting up the event at 8:00am, when speed will be restricted to 128kb/s. The speed will be increased to the contractual value at 8:00am on the first day of the event.
The contract ends when the Fastnetexpo service is stopped at the end of the last event day at 19:00.
Any derogation request must have been formalised before ordering of the Fastnetexpo service and will be subject to a surcharge calculated according to this request.


8 > AMENDMENTS:
Any valid amendment to the present contract must be subject to a supplementary agreement signed by the authorised managers of the two parties.


9 > DISPUTES:
French law is applicable. In the absence of an amicable settlement, any difficulty relating to the application of the present contract will be settled in the courts of Paris to which the parties attribute territorial jurisdiction whatever the location of utilisation of the Fastnetexpo service or the domicile of the defendant.


10 > APPENDICES:
FASTNETEXPO SERVICE
The Fastnetexpo service provides the customer with a permanent Internet connection. The service is only available for the duration of the event.
The installation on site is limited to the area within exhibition centre The access cost for the Fastnetexpo service depend on the location of the connection point and the equipment requested.
The service is available at speeds of 128kbit/s to 2Mbit/s and can be increased without changing the installation.
The Fastnetexpo "hotline" is the only customer contact. It can be reached by electronic messaging, fax or telephone. The hotline service is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00.

INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
The basic installation is made up of a RJ45 cable connecting to Fastnetexpo and assigned to the subscriber.
Only one network socket may be installed per stand or unit.
The distribution network for workstation computer sockets and the active material is not part of the basic offer.
In the event of multiple locations, one extra socket, billed extra, may have the same subscriber reference; in this case, the two sockets will be part of the same Fastnetexpo service contract.
In the event of an LE type access, a single machine capable of connecting to the Internet may be connected to the access provided; in this case, a single TCP/IP address is provided to the customer; under no circumstances may this unique address be used as an access point or server to another private network.
Wireless networks (radio, DECT, GSM, WiFi, etc.) are not authorised. No on-site work can be performed on these types of networks. In the event of disruptions noted in the vicinity of such networks, the Fastnetexpo service will be ceased immediately and without prior warning.
